Chicken Run

Hi everyone, well Zoe anyway,
We've been very busy on our new allotment. Steve is going to keep chickens and i'm going to grow vegetables. I'm not sure why because we hardly ever eat a proper meals cos Steve can't face one, but i'll enjoy the journey along the way and someone else will no doubt benefit from the results. I meant to take photo's of the allotment when we got it but i forgot to take the camera. The weeds were nearly waist high and it seems laughable to think that either Steve or myself could tackle it, with our level of fitness, but we have done very well so far. I will take some pics from now on and will post them so you can follow our progress.
So far we have cleared all the tall weeds, which has killed my back, and next we are going to spray with weedkiller and sit back and wait!! After that, well wait and see.
We have ordered the chicken house and hope to make a run with sheep hurdles. the chicks won't come til their 5 star residence is completely ready.
This project is going to kill or cure us. Keep watching this site!
